Belsonic — August 15 - 26 at Custom House Square

Belsonic returns for its eighth annual instalment, bringing the finest live music from across the globe to the heart of Belfast city centre.

The acts announced to perform on the 2015 stage include Rudimental, Paloma Faith, Bastille, Stereophonics, Above & Beyond, All Time Low, Duke Dumont, The Coronas, Twenty One Pilots, Mini Mansions, Echosmith, and more — all of whom will be bringing their stunning live shows to the intimate surroundings of Custom House Square, in the city's historic Cathedral Quarter.

David C Clements — August 19 - 20 at Strand Arts Centre

Third Bar presents David C Clements in concert, as part of EastSide Arts Festival — heavenly folk with a mix of upbeat and energetic country and swelling melodies. Vocals touched with experience retelling tales both insightful and familiar, he has a reputation of being one of the finest songwriters in Belfast.

David is putting the finishing touches to his debut album recorded with producer Michael Keeney, these intimate shows are a chance to experience the songs that make up this incredible record.

SOAK — August 22 at Strand Arts Centre

EastSide Arts Festival welcomes one of Northern Ireland’s fastest-rising talents, SOAK, in a year that has seen her new album attracting rave reviews. The album, Before We Forgot How to Dream, features last year’s singles ‘B a NoBody’, ‘Bud’ and ‘Shovels’, and is on Rough Trade.

SOAK, real name Bridie-Monds Watson,will be performing live in concert at the Strand Arts Centre fresh from a tour that has taken in dates across the UK, Europe and the United States, including an appearance at The Other Stage at Glastonbury.

Duke Special feat. Malojian — August 26 at Strand Arts Centre

A superb double bill of artists at the peak of their powers, both celebrating terrific new albums.

Duke Special’s fourth studio album Look Out Machines! has picked up rave reviews since its release in April, and EastSide Arts Festival welcomes him to his first headline gig in the Strand Arts Centre. The new album sees Duke exploring new musical ground with collaborators including Iain Archer, Phil Wilkinson and Gary Clark, and producing one of his most personal albums. 

Joining Duke on the night are Malojian, celebrating the release of Southlands, a wonderfully received new collection.

Tennent's Vital 2015 — August 29 - 30 at Boucher Road Playing Fields

This year's festival sees the amazing Calvin Harris headline the stage on Saturday, August 29, alongside fantastic guests Ellie Goulding, John Newman, Disciples and Burns. Sunday night brings The Script to the limelight, supported by Kodaline, Clean Bandit, Annie Mac and Jack Savoretti.

Van Morrison— August 31 at Cyprus Avenue

Van Morrison will provide the closing festival performances for EastSide Arts Festival. One of the most iconic artists of his generation, Van Morrison will celebrate his 70th birthday by appearing for two sellout shows at this iconic venue – a beautiful location made famous across the world through the song from his ground breaking and widely acclaimed Astral Weeks album, first released in 1968.

Van Morrison has proved to be hugely popular and captured the imagination of many people from home and abroad and so there is no doubt that this event will be a very special moment for the City of Belfast.
